Sooo yes, I haven't posted anything on here in quite a while. Since last year, actually. I know, I suck. But I have every intention of starting up again!
It's almost the end of another semester (just a few more weeks!), which is both terrifying and - well actually it's mostly just terrifying. But that's okay.
My plan is to start posting on here again and to start putting up things that I'm doing in my Communication and Film Studies classes, since those pertain to the subject of this blog. I've been doing some really interesting things in my classes, and like last semester I've learned so much about my majors and my areas of interest and I'm so excited to be expanding my knowledge on subjects that pertain to what I want to study!
In my Survey of Communication Studies class, for example, we're working on a Semester Writing Project in which we are required to tie communication concepts to a comm object. I chose a film, naturally - The Imitation Game - and once that paper's all done I will be sure to post it.
My American Film class is by far my favorite class of the semester. We've watched a great selection of movies and I've learned so much about the history of Hollywood and films in America. I actually just finished a mini paper today about the music in the film Easy Rider that I'll be posting after I finish this post up.
But yeah, lot's of exciting stuff going on. I'll make sure to post on here as often as I can.
